Welcome to The Escapologist’s Accessibility page. We’re on a mission to make our escape rooms and bars as accessible and welcoming as possible for everyone, and we’re thrilled to introduce our Accessibility Ambassador, Ava!

We want everyone to feel welcome at The Escapologist, and we’re here to answer your questions about accessibility. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions:

1. Are the entrances to venues wheelchair accessible?
All of our sites are wheelchair accessible.

2. Which escape rooms are accessible for wheelchairs?

  • Xscape: Vertic Alley, Operation Slimeworth, D3LIR1UM
  • White Rose: Almost Alice, School of Wizardry, GunPowder,
  • Metro:The Big Top, Wonderland

3. Are doorways and hallways spacious enough to accommodate wheelchairs?
Yes

4. Are there ramps available for areas that are not on the ground floor?
Yes, to raised platform areas on the ground floor.

5. Do any elements in the rooms require physical movements that might be challenging for guests with limited mobility?
This will be specified on the per room pages, though nothing requires more strength than a toddler. If you would like to speak to us about any rooms, or let us know your requirements before you arrive, please email us at hello@the-escapologist.com.

6. Are there low-height counters at bar areas, or is it table service?
We offer table service at all our sites.

7. Is the furniture in the bar area moveable to make space for wheelchairs?
Yes at all sites for flexibility, but there is plenty of space to move around the sites without moving furniture too.

8. Are there accessible bathrooms in or close to the venues?
Yes, close to or available at all sites.

9. Can guests reserve the accessible rooms in advance?
Yes, all rooms list availability on the website to book in advance. If you would like to speak to us or let us know your requirements before you arrive, please email us at hello@the-escapologist.com.

10. Does the team offer assistance with entering or exiting rooms for guests with physical disabilities?
We can offer assistance, if you would like any assistance please let us know this information in advance at hello@the-escapologist.com, to ensure we have a team member available.

11. Are there designated accessible parking spaces?
Yes, at all sites.

12. Are there elevators or lifts to access different levels?
All our bar areas and most game rooms are on the ground level, however some game rooms are found on the first floor with access via staircase.

13. Are there any accommodations for people with visual impairments?

14. Is the venue accessible for individuals with sensory impairments?

15. Is the venue okay with service animals?
Yes, at all sites.

16. Can I request specific accommodations in advance?

17. Is there ample space for mobility aids?
Yes, at all sites.
