Ever After

Ever After is a dual-perspective experience, with players split into two groups, each uncovering a different side of the same story.

The Storyline…

Once upon a time... everything went completely wrong!

You and your team have tumbled into a storybook world where fairy tales are all mixed up - and worse still, the magic that holds them together has vanished!

To make matters even trickier, a wicked spell has split you into two separate tales. You’ll have to work across storylines, solve enchanted puzzles, and communicate cleverly if you want to find your way back to each other.

Magic is fading fast, and the Evil Queen is growing stronger with every tick of the clock. She’s determined to trap you between the pages forever and rewrite the stories her way - no happily ever afters allowed!

Can you reunite your team, restore the magic, and set the stories right again? Or will you become just another tale trapped in the pages of Ever After?

This room is NOT wheelchair accessible. This room also requires all players to have the ability to crawl.

Ever After is a dual-perspective game experience, using perspective as a game mechanic by dividing players into two groups who experience parallel sides of the same unfolding story. In this game, one of the groups of players are locked in, however there is an emergency release button that can be pressed to override their door should they need to leave their room in an emergency. There is also a process in place should a player want to leave even if it is not an Emergency.

We advise that players entering either side of the game have a minimum age of 12 if not supported by a parent or guardian, and those who are supported by a parent or guardian have a minimum age of 8.

Some games may include variations in lighting and sound, such as flashing lights and loud noises. If you have any sensory sensitivities or concerns, please inform a member of our team upon arrival, before your game begins.

Please note that this room is located at our Xscape, Castleford venue, if you show up at the wrong location, we won’t be able to reimburse you. 

Rules

please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking time to allow our team sufficient time to brief you and grant access to the room.

Please adhere to all age-related restrictions for your booking. Players aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also required to pay and play. Players aged 14 to 16 must have a parent or guardian remain on the premises for the duration of the booking (participation is not required).

We kindly ask all guests - whether enjoying a game, having a drink, or waiting for others - to refrain from bringing outside food or beverages into the venue.
