The Storyline…

Locked up for a crime you didn’t even commit?! …Typical!

The guards barely looked at your file before slamming the door shut, and now the justice system won’t give you the time of day.

But hope isn’t lost, as your cellmate let slip a valuable secret: the guards always leave their I.D. cards somewhere before shift change. If you can find one, there might be a way out of here after all…

One of you is chained up, but not alone - teamwork will be your greatest asset.

Keep your eyes sharp, your minds sharper, and your hands sneaky. Puzzles, locks, and clever clues stand between you and freedom… and the clock is already ticking.

You’ve got 30 minutes until the next guard walks in. Can you pull off the ultimatejailbreak and escape The Cell - or will your names be stuck in the system forever?

More Information

This room is NOT wheelchair accessible.

At the beginning of this game 1 player is chained up as part of the storyline, however they are in no way separated from the other players and still have to opportunity to work together with their group to escape.

In this game, players are locked in, however there is an emergency release button that can be pressed to override their door should they need to leave their room in an emergency. There is also a process in place should player want to leave even if it is not an emergency.

Some games may include variations in lighting and sound, such as flashing lights and loud noises. If you have any sensory sensitivities or concerns, please inform a member of our team upon arrival, before your game begins.

Please note that this room is located at our Xscape, Castleford venue, if you show up at the wrong location, we won’t be able to reimburse you. 

Rules

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking time to allow our team sufficient time to brief you and grant access to the room.

Please adhere to all age-related restrictions for your booking. Players aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also required to pay and play. Players aged 14 to 16 must have a parent or guardian remain on the premises for the duration of the booking (participation is not required).

We kindly ask all guests - whether enjoying a game, having a drink, or waiting for others - to refrain from bringing outside food or beverages into the venue.
